Good afternoon Buck Families, this Cheryl Baggett, Principal at Forest Hills:

● EOY Testing: We will begin our end-of-year testing this Thursday, 5/25. We need your partnership with a few items:

1)Please ensure your students are at school on time every day - once we begin testing they will not be allowed to enter a classroom.

2)Your students should also be well rested and have a good breakfast if they eat at home.

3)Chromebooks & chargers need to be at school on Monday - we are collecting these for our testing.

4)Please do not come to FH to check out your students early; our tests can run up to 4 hours and we will not release one student from our building until our testing process is complete, including the return of all testing materials - this could take up to 2:00 pm. Additionally, teachers will be conducting additional review sessions up until the very last day of testing. Summer break is only 2 1⁄2 weeks away - you will be able to spend 11 whole weeks with your Bucks over the summer; please leave your students in our care until then. Last year I asked for your assistance with this and you came through! I once again appreciate your partnership to help our testing and year-end processes go smoothly!

● Academic Awards Ceremony: Our annual Academic Awards Ceremony will take place in the FH Auditorium this Thursday, 5/25, at 6:30 pm. Each student who has earned the honor of being recognized, has brought home a letter with this information. Due to limited space, each student is allowed to bring only 2 guests. We look forward to celebrating our students academic accomplishments at this event!

● 8th Grade Formal: Our 8th grade formal dance is Friday, May 26th, 7-9 pm. Tickets are $5.00 and include light refreshments; tickets can be purchased until Wednesday, 5/24.

● Student Dress Code: With warm weather here, this is a reminder that students are expected to follow the WCS dress code policy. Shorts must be at fingertip length, dresses/skirts are 3 inches from the knee at a minimum. Tank tops and spaghetti strap tops must be under another shirt; shirts that show the belly area are not allowed. The previous expectations for leggings and other tight knitware still remain. WCS dress code policy is also expected when on field trips.

Students - BE Positive, BE Responsible & BE Respectful and remember, EVERY student can grow this year!

Parents - I wish each of you a Bucktastic week!
